We are skilled in biomechanical and surgical means to assess, diagnose and treat patients for pathology on the surface and, uniquely, below the surface of the foot and ankle.
Only our members can make independent assessment and diagnosis based upon clinical examination and through ordering and interpreting medical diagnostic tests including
- Bone scans,
- CT scans,
- Blood tests, etc.
Patients are often referred to us by physicians as the specialists for all types of foot care. Referring to podiatrists minimizes the likelihood that patients will have to be referred from one professional to another to obtain the care they require.
- Podiatrists are able to order blood tests and, by utilizing the latest imaging modalities, including radiography, nuclear medicine, CT scans and MRIs, podiatric physicians are able to evaluate most foot pathologies.
- Podiatrists can make independent assessments and diagnoses based upon clinical examination and through ordering and interpreting medical diagnostic tests including: MRIs, bone scans, CT scans, blood tests, etc.
